I discovered the brand Madara a year ago, and I am still obsessed! It is an organic skincare which has wonderful effects on my skin.
For the face, in the summer it is really important to protect it with sunscreen. However, it is fastidious to apply your sunscreen and then your foundation and it feels too heavy on the skin; The SPF30 Plant Stem Cell Age-Defying Face Sunscreen is a mix of both. It has an SPF30 which is a high sunscreen protection however it is teinted so it looks like a foundation!

A light and nurishing lipstick
If you want to pimp you up, I will add a light lipstick. My struggle honestly with lipstick is that my lips keep being dry all the time, especially with the heat. I found my best favorite of all time with Pomponne which honestly is like a deep conditioning too. They have so many pretty colors but for a summer look, I go for the Coral Shades which goes hand in hand with haled skin.
Waterproof mascara
I am not huge into make up during summer however my must need is for sure the mascara. As with the summer comes the heat and for the lucky one the beaches and the pools, I always go for a waterproof mascara. I swear on organic beauty product so I go for the one from ERE PEREZ.
Deep hair conditionning for your summer trip
With summer comes great things and.. bad ones! Like dry hair. As a curly girl it is even worse the effects of the sun and the salt on the beach on my hair. I always take with me a deep conditionning and I keep the same for years: Cut by Fred deep conditionning. I love the smells of frangipane !
My water bottle to keep you hydrated throughout your summer trip
Everyone need a good water bottle to stay hydrated during the day; Don’t go for a basic one and invest on one which will keep the water cold throughout the day. Plus it will be your ally to reduce waste on your trip (and save money)! Mine is from Qwetch a good quality brand.
A good sunscreen, an essential for your summer trip
Everyone needs a sunscreen. It is essential to protect you from skin cancer! You need to apply it every 2-3 hours per day. I am using the brand Avène in a 50 SPF which do not leave a white marks even though I have a haled skin. I prefer to go for the spray and a big format as I can share with my baby girl and it is easier to apply on the skin.
My summer perfume
I go for a light perfume on the summer. And everyone should do so, as it is one of the worst things to smell a heavy perfume in the heat!

Summer clothes
I will not recommend specific clothes, let me know in the comments if you will be interested in a selection of my clothes to wear in summer. But I will recommend two essential materials: Cotton and Linen. When I was pregnant in August I thought I was going to die of heat and when I discovered the importance of choosing the right materials for the heat I survived! I will life changers and I will recommend to only go for those two and you will see the difference.
In addition, they are high-quality materials and will last through the years.
My beach towel
I always go for a compact and small towel. I hate when you come back to your house and the towel is full of sand and you put it everywhere on the house. Then it is a nightmare to clean! The best is the Tunisian fouta which is absorbant for the water light and compact so you can pack it easily in your bag and not salt-sticky.
They are quite affordable too and come in many designs. Many brands are good, one of them is Fouta Tunisia.
The perfect sunglasses for your summer trip
Vogue is a top-quality brand for sunglasses. They have so many colors and designs for each style and face shape. You will for sure find something that suits you!
The heat and water-resistent jewelry
I found the prettiest ear cuff on Belizé Bijoux, they are good price-quality value too. They have a collection of mini hoops and big hoops earrings, fleas, earrings, and piercings too. They can be worn individually or in pairs. Colored or sober, with zircons or without, in silver or gold plated, the choice is yours to make. They are also water resistant (I always keep mine in the showers and they did not move a bit). However, I will not recommend having them with you on the beaches (salt can damage them).
